Stop fighting for Customers. Build a Movement Instead.
Hi beautiful Entrepreneur,
Imagine pouring your heart into your business – crafting products, marketing like crazy, and still wondering why the sales aren’t rolling in. I see it all the time. Entrepreneurs chasing after everyone, hoping someone will bite. But the truth? When you try to sell to everyone, you often sell to no one.
Let me share something I've noticed after working with many of African founders:
Most chase customers. A few build movements that matter.
But here's what changes everything: Real growth starts when you stop looking for customers and start building a tribe.

Why Knowing Your True Fans changes everything
Your target market isn’t “everyone” – it’s the specific group that benefits the most from your product or service. By knowing exactly who they are, you can:
Stop wasting money on broad, ineffective marketing.
Create stronger loyalty by solving real problems for the right people.
Develop better products that meet specific needs.
Stand out from competitors by offering unique, personalized value.
👉 Remember: Anyone can find customers. Brand Giants build tribes that last.
Let me show you how Brand Giants do it:
Step 1: Find Your True Fans 🌟
Forget the basic stuff and ask yourself:
Who's tired of how things are done now?
Who believes in the same future you do?
Who wants to be part of real change?
Example:
Instead of "Women who buy skincare"
Think "Lagos women proud of their natural beauty, tired of whitening creams and Western standards"
Step 2: Tap Into Their Dreams 🚀
Get specific:
What frustrates them daily?
What future do they want to create?
What story do they want to tell?
Example:
Instead of "People who need food delivery"
Think "Young Accra professionals who believe convenience shouldn't mean unhealthy eating"
Step 3: Lead With Purpose 👑
Complete this:
"We're bringing together [your people] who believe [shared dream] to change [what needs fixing]"
Your Action Steps This Week
Write down who you really want to serve
List what they're tired of
Show them the future they want
Now it’s your turn – focus on the right customers and watch your business thrive. Reply with your draft, and I’ll personally review it and give you feedback!
Cheers,
Sitan
